Ghanaian pianist Dr.George Francois  was born into a musical family, and started playing the piano when he was two. Further studies took him from Ghana to the United Kingdom and the United States. Dr. Francois has performed  internationally as a soloist and collaborative pianist, and has been described as having a ‘wondrous command of technique’ with ‘fire when called for, but also lovely moments of lyricism to savor’. His New York recital venues have included Alice Tully Hall, MOMA, Metropolitan Museum, Lerner Hall, and St. Paul's Chapel.
